A "Fun Fuel" or "Exotic Fuel" mix is anything that contains a minimum of
20% flammable liquid with 80% non-flammable liquid This "80 % Not Petrol" must be rich in other heavy atoms and complex molecules.
"We can replaced the Carbon from petrol with Carbon as sugar" Water is used as a carrier for things like sugar, hence FOR FUN we run engines on Ginger Beer or Mountain Dew. Although theoretically possible, it is impracticable to run a GEET System on "Just Water" when attempting to achieve Torque or Hi Performance. |

GEET has been done before, but there is more to creating a business, than simply making a GEET system work.
It's largely a question of time and a lot of things had to happen before it was the right time. In short there is a load of information and situations most people are unaware of. So in an attempt to bring a little enlightenment I've included a few things for general consideration. It is only now that it makes financial, social and ecological scenes to deploy a technology like GEET. It made scenes ecologically and social some time ago, shame we had to wait for the financial incentive. Resent developments in "off the shelf" micro controllers and equipment such as 3D printers and c&C machines have opened up a new area of possibilities and solutions. |
Research & Development really does cost a lot of money.
What's paying the bills while you work ? Some achieved a working system straight off the bat, but were unable to establish a viable business. Tech people rarely have the interpersonal skills to be good in business or to be good teachers. After the initial demand for classes in their area dried up their cash flow stopped. Having enjoyed early technical success and even set up deals with companies, they lacked the breath of experience necessary to scale the equipment to another engine. Delays with Research and Development lead to spiralling costs and failed contracts, ultimately forcing them to step back and find other employment. |
Some teams made it past the first stages and proudly revealed there achievements.
Their motivation came from the belief that they were helping make the world a better place and simply wanted to share their excitement. Having borrowed, skimped and saved while working in some tinny shed, their big day finally came. As soon as one releases this kind of technology to the public, it is a given that, you will receive a negative response from quite a number of the very people you wished to help. Many teams eventually lost heart in the face of a howling gale of Nay-Sayers and shut up shop. One of note was a family run team, who sadly divorced over the stress. Thus prematurely ending one of the best GEET dealerships just as they got off the ground. |
Released Work Before They Were Ready:
Due to the pressures of financing such an endeavour, many dealerships decided to hold presentations or attempted to teach a class too soon. I myself made this mistake, you only want make that mistake once and never again. The problem with the early presentation is. The demonstration might be great, but it brings up more questions than it answers. Or one lacks sufficient evidence to respond to all the objections.. I actually need 4 engines with different set ups to give a full demonstration and answer all the questions people ask. When teaching a class there is a risk that some of your information is wrong or badly presented. People then go home unable to actually make the thing work and the dealership is unable to help them.... |
Over Reliance On Research & Development Backing:
Some dealerships never managed to make a system work at all and never gain a true understanding of how to build a GEET system. Instead they became prospective businesses, Ie hole for people to sink money into. This path leads to a sticky end for any foolish enough to go down it. It also damages the reputation of GEET and alternative energy technology in general. |
